Lohmann Sails & Covers is a small British Columbia company on scenic Vancouver Island specialized in producing custom made total winter covers for sailboats and powerboats from 30 ft to 120 ft in length and certain one design boat covers. 



Chris Lohmann the owner operator and a Master Sailmaker by profession came from Europe in 1995 after he sold his boat cover production company specialized in transport covers and mooring covers for racing boats (Dragon, Star, 11 meter one-design, Etchell, H-Boat,  etc).



Since there was no market for these boats in the Pacific North West he searched and found a new niche market where he could implement new innovations to better existing designs of winter covers.

• Easy to handle - Being softer means a better fit and easy storage, you only need to stuff the cover into the bag, no need to fold.
  Where as if you want less Volume folding is required.

• Installing a Grand Banks 42 cover will only take you 60 minutes after the fifth time and taking it down only 30 minutes.

• No sandbags or water bottles - The cover is attached with webbing straps and buckles  and has a rim-line  which holds down the specially contoured fabric at the bow and in the back underneath the hull or swim grit.

• Affordable -  we offer lower prices than most competitors because we are specialized and have streamlined our production with the best equipment and material available, further we buy in Bulk 
  1000  Yards and more with each shipment.

• Superior after sales service - free make over after the first season and a five year limited warranty. Further we offer a yearly subscription for a fee which includes installation, take down, check up and storage .

• Minimal or no extra charges when the boat is located outside our service area for boat measurement. In most cases the finished cover will be installed by us. Service and delivery available in British Columbia only. Due to the political situation there is no delivery and service in the USA at this time.
